I love it when people know I am a MOM; I show off my kids whenever I can! Thats one reason why I love a bracelet I recently bought. It features photographs of my kids, and has pendants with my children's birthdates and names on them.
A year or more ago, melljones and I were scouring the Baby Show in Toronto when I spotted Riverstone Designs's beautiful booth. I stopped and together with founder and mom-preneur Christie Lance-Reaume I put together my ideal bracelet (you pick the chain and add whatever you want to it - including fingerprint pendants). I went home to strategically leave the brochure, markings and all, out for my husband to find. It was two birthdays later, and one more child, but I finally have my own beautiful LOVELINX creation.
My bracelet has two photo frames and two pendants; the photo frames are really cool because you can put one photo on one side and another photo on the reverse: I chose a photo of my daughter on one, with a photograph of me pregnant with her on the back; a photo of my son on the other, with a photograph from my wedding on the reverse.
And I love it. I get so many compliments on it. I think the appeal is for two reasons: one it is such a unique idea - and it is unique to me! - and two the jewellery itself is just so beautiful and well done. It is made from high quality sterling silver and the photographs are really elegant in black and white.
Just wanted to share this wonderful product! I loved Christie so much when I placed my order that I also had to interview her for an upcoming Parent Profile!

This January my twin sister and I will celebrate our 30th birthdays. When I saw your bracelet, I knew I had found the perfect gift. My whole life I have felt truly blessed to have my sister: a best friend since birth. My sister has been here for me, supporting me through all of the happy and the difficult times in my life. She held me through tears when our grandma (who was like a second mom to us) passed away, she stood beside me as I happily married my husband, she was there sharing in tears of joy as my first son was born, and she dropped everything to come to be with me after I suffered a miscarriage. After viewing Christie's website and seeing her handcrafted LOVELINX jewelry, I have decided to get my sister and I matching necklaces as a surprise for her for our birthday. Hers will feature a frame with a picture of her children on one side and a wedding picture of her with her husband on the other, with pendants displaying the names and birth dates of her children. Mine will be the same chain except with pictures of my husband and kids and pendants displaying the names of my boys and their birth dates. I am so glad to have found such a special gift to get for one of the most special women in my life: my twin sister and best friend.

What a lovely idea! I take a lot of pictures and, when I have time (!), I love scrapbooking to tell my stories. My son loves looking at "his" album (I actually put it together for his grandma and grandad) which tells the story of his first year of life. This jewellery sounds beautiful and is a really neat way to keep some of those most precious memories with you at all times!

I also like many love your bracelet. I first saw LoveLink on city line when I was pregnant. Now with a three month old and some (ok many) pictures its time to create my first LoveLink necklace. I am looking forward to the day I have my own but first I will create one for my mom (grandma). Like me she is so proud to be part of our little ones life and loves to tell everyone she is a grandma. I love my LoveLinx necklace. When ever I wear it, I have at least three people stop me to ask where I got it. Even my girls family doctor fell in love with it.
I also saw LOVELINX beautiful eyecatching jewellery at the Baby Time Show Spring 2010. I was immediately drawn to the booth with so many beautiful pieces, so personal and yet so elegant. The only thing to do now is get our husbands to notice LOVELINX so that more women can wear elegant jewellery and show off their children at the same time.

I am a professional photographer in Ottawa and have seen a lot of different types of photo jewellery but LOVELINX really caught my eye when I discovered them last Spring. I just had to have one! It was my Mother's Day gift to myself. :) My bracelet has a photo of my son at 6 months and then at 18 months and also has his peanut print, which I love! I've had so many compliments and I now offer my clients the opportunity to use the photographs I've taken of their baby to create their own beautiful piece.

I love the idea of this jewellery!! I have been hinting to my partner for at least the past 12 months (our baby is now 9 months old) that I want one but he has yet to bite. Your bracelet is amazing. I love it and I think every mom needs one.
I LOVE Lovelinx. I got my bracelet with a picture pendant for my first Mother's Day when my 1st daughter was born 3 years ago. It was perfect when I returned to work so that I could still feel connected to her everyday. Then my 2nd daughter was born 6 months ago and I added a 2nd picture pendant for our 1st Mother's Day together. It was so meaningful. Then . . . Christie introduced her men's collection! I excitedly planned to get the peanut finger print cufflinks for my husband for his 1st Father's Day . . . but then my newborn baby became ill when she was only 3 months old. She was hospitalized for several weeks due to a serious medical condition. Christie offered to COME TO THE HOSPITAL to take her finger prints just in case the worst happened. Words cannot express our gratitude for her compassion. When we finally returned home . . . I ordered the cufflinks and they are EXQUISITE. It is one thing to order jewellery because it is beautiful but it is another to have a lifetime keepsake of your children . . . particularly in the face of crisis . . . then . . . it becomes priceless.
