Hi there,
I'm asking for my Weewelcome friends to please help me out.
I'm telling my weight loss story to the people at Presedents Choice as I did on Weewelcome a few months ago. Since I added my blog to "my weight loss challenge" my success has been incredible.
I need votes to help win a PC prize that consists of $2500 to spend at PC stores. My driver is that the proceeds of this win will go towards a great cause. I help support local charities and this includes a food bank that my daughter and eldest grand-daugter volunteer at. It would be a great gift to the community if this prize could contribute to buying some fresh foods for many needy families, just in time for Easter.
How to vote?
Create an account at pc.ca. Once you verify your account via email, go to "Connect" and click on "Share your healthy story" To locate my story quickly, use the occupation filter and select "retiree". Then look for a story create on Feb 10th entitled "Living life at the expense of health risks".
The story is also below...
What's in it for you?
If I end up winning, I will be drawing to give away a great PC prize pack to all the members who voted for me
Please leave a comment on my blog or a comment on the PC site under my story, if you have decided to vote.
Thanks so much!

I'll be turning 70 at the end of this month. I have always stayed away from doctors but with every ache and pain that I felt, I assumed the worst. My daughter finally convinced me to get my first physical. Thankfully, all turned out well, except for the fact that my cholesterol was up by 4 points...a heart attach waiting to happen. I did much research and stopped eating "bad cholestoral" foods and changed my diet completely!!! It's been two months and my diet consists of beans, nuts, fruit and vegetables, 95% dark chocolate, blueberries, avocatos and salmon. I must admit that it is somewhat of an expensive diet but since i've also been eating less, it did not weigh on my wallet.
In 2 months, I have lost 25 pounds and 6 inches off my waist. I'm loving life but still have a ways to go.

You have my thumbs up and 5*. You're an inspiration. It's never too late to live a healthy lifestyle! I hope you win and I love that you'll be helping the community with the prize.
Just checking to be sure---is it the Thumbs up that is the vote? It did not seem so clear to me as there is the product rating, also.
Hi there,
To the left of the thumbs, you'll see stars. It's great to give me a thumbs up but the stars are what counts as votes.
Thanks to everyone for all this. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
Okay, I did get into the right place and voted for you. I hope you win.
Later, I'll get my husband to vote, also.
The site is not loading properly right now. But, I will try again later.
Good luck, hope you win. You have my vote.
I'll vote for you!
Good luck!
Amazing! I will definitely support you and hope other in our WeeWelcome community will too!
