I always get this question: How do you juggle life with a toddler and a newborn?
It is true that our life has been turned upside down since the arrival of our son last November. It does have lots of challenges to juggle both a toddler and a newborn but it is so worth it. Of course, there are the sleepless nights, waking up to feed every 2-3 hours and diaper changes but we try as much as possible to take turns and enjoy every moment of it.
He's almost 3 months old now and is waking up depending on the days every 3-4 hrs and we're hoping he will gradually sleep for longer hours. We had been so used to sleeping almost through the night with our daughter that it was difficult at first to go back 'from scratch', ie waking up every 2-3 hrs.
During the day, my daughter goes to daycare and so it does help to have only the baby to look after. From that, I do catch a couple of zzzzzzz's:-) Thus when hubby comes home with our daughter, dinner is all set and we eat!!!!
On the weekends, it's a bit more of a challenge because we have to look after two kids but we take them our daughter for swimming lessons. She's all pooped out and this gives us a bit of a rest when she naps. Else, on non-swimming days, we each take turn to do crafts like painting, scribbling on paper and puzzles.
So far so good and all we wish for our kids is that they grow up well and healthy!

I found it hard in the beginning to juggle as well, but it's getting easier! We go to visit friends, storytime at the library, and just do the groceries somedays to get out of the house! We also love the park and going for walks/bike rides! Thank goodness summer is almost here!
