There are certain things that just say Christmas to me, my mom's sausage rolls, egg nog, the smell of a real Christmas tree, and Terry's Chocolate oranges.
Every year, while other kids got real oranges in their stocking, Santa put a chocolate orange in the toe of my stocking.
They have always been a favourite, but funny enough, I only get them at Christmas.
I have continued this tradition with my daughter and plan to introduce it to my step children this year.
When I first asked my daughter what she wanted for Christmas this year, the only thing that she wanted was a chocolate shaped like an orange! I guess it will be one of those Christmas traditions she passes on too!
Since then, the older children have educated her on a variety of other options to add to her Christmas list, but I think the Terry's Chocolate orange will always have a special place in her heart too.
