Exercise is not my favourite thing to do. I joined a gym once and that ended up being 2 very expensive workouts. I used to be junior national swimmer in my teens, and maybe after training twice a day most days with hours of extra gym and gymnastics training I don't know how to just exercise for fun or on my own without a coach pushing me on.
I have friends that love running, yoga, pilates, and many have tried to get me to go to a class with them...most don't try to make me go after one class...I'm not the most coordinated athlete, I'm definitely better off in the pool!
Something about being pregnant makes you just want to live better and be healthier. With my first I signed up for a prenatal yoga class, I thought great I can get my "oooommmm" on and maybe meet another mom-to-be or two. With my second pregnancy, hauling stuff to baby shows was pretty much all the exercise I got...and almost put me on bedrest so that is definitely not recommended and I will have to keep that in mind in April at the shows this time.
So far with this one, I haven't done much other than swap more apples for my usual chocolate chip cookies. I do want to do something healthy for this baby and myself but I find it even harder with the winter weather...excuses excuses, I know! My friends at Mommy & Baby Fitness and at Fitmom have awesome programs maybe I will check one of those out and see some of you there!
