Winter is lots of fun once you get out the door but it can be a challenge to get kids bundled up in their winter gear, to get out the door, and keep them active outside and having fun!
1. Let your kids help in choosing their winter gear. It may not be what you would choose but it will help with the battle of getting them dressed in their winter gear.
2. Incorporate a fabric softener like Downy Free & Gentle into your laundry routine to keep your kids winter gear like scarves, mitts and snowsuits soft and not scratchy against your kid's skin.
3. Pick up some clips that hold kid's mitts to their coats keep mitts from getting lost, I love the ones from Snug As A Bug!
4. Invest in good quality winter gear and protect your investment with good quality laundry detergent like Tide Free & Gentle. I love Tide Free because it is free of dyes and perfumes so it just gets my kids clothes and winter gear clean and keeps the fabric looking new.
5. Get your kids excited about an outdoor activity like building a snowman by having them collect items to make a princess snow person, a pirate snowman or even Rapunzel from Tangled! Get the really excited by filling spray bottles with food colouring and water and turn the snow a rainbow of colours!
