Many of us are planning on going away this summer, whether it is just for the day, overnight or for a longer time there are three things to keep in mind while you are packing for your baby, toddler and/or pre-schooler!
Just the thought of packing for my three kids even for a day trip can be overwhelming let alone a week or more. There is so much stuff to choose from and I'm always "what if-ing". What if we need this, what if we need that?! After being a mom on the go for almost seven years and three kids I've learned to focus on the three things that will keep us all happy campers.
1. Sleep
2. Eat
3. Play
If your little one sleeps well, stays fed and has activites to keep busy you will all enjoy your trip a lot more.Â
Here are three quick videos I made for you, watch them and then enter to win a HUGE prize package in our Pack Your Bags Contest which includes many of these amazing products!
Thanks for the ideas
One of our favourite travel toys is Playmobil - though we leave the little tiny pieces (treasure, coins, pistols) at home! ALl three boys spend hours playing - and we include a variety of figures, animals etc. We have 2 little magnetic sets as well (also Playmobil)that can be used on the plane or in the car (though the pieces in these sets are too small for Baby!)
We have found Recue Heroes great as sand/water toys - they are easy to find at garage sales, and are easy to play with for little hands. So far they are pretty tough outside as well - and don;t get wrecked in water or sun!

Really great ideas!! Both my girls love little people and I never even thought to bring one set with us when we travel. We have the farm that was redone to look like the one they used to make and it packs into itself and is really easy to carry and bring along. I'll be bringing this next trip out instead of the bulky toys I usually end up packing!! Thanks!!
