We have already enjoyed so much time in our back yard, hanging out with friends and cleaning up. We even broke out the s'mores and got a taste of things to come this summer!
My 10 month old wasn't mobile last summer so this is the first time she's experienced the world around her, it was hard for me (for about 2 seconds) to let go of my control freak side and just let her get down and crawl around on the ground in the dirt, on the grass, in the sandbox. It's all new to her and she loves all of it. Sure she gets a little grubby, okay a lot grubby but she is in good company with her brother and sister. I love that at the end of the day I can almost tell by the state of their clothes how much fun they had. Generally speaking, the dirtier they are the more fun they had.
The s'mores experience ranked pretty high on the messy fun scale, plus the added bonus of it being a tasty treat they got to make themselves. The ooey-gooey goodness of chocolate, melted on a roasted marshmallow between their new favourite "cracker" graham crackers, my kids were in heaven...who I am kidding, me too!
I also love that I don't have to worry about how dirty my kids get having fun outside because I use Sunlight Green Clean Laundry Detergent , which magically gets all rid of any evidence of past fun leaving them good to go and get dirty all over again!

I love the spring and summer months. There's nothing better than the clean smell these seasons bring with them. I look forward this year to taking my daughter camping for the first time. We didn't get to go last year since we had such a cool summer. This year she'll be 2 and I think she'll love it. I also love taking her to all the parks in our area. I live in Milton and we have a whole lot of choices of parks to go to. Last year she loved the splash pad, I hope the weather will be nice and hot this summer so she can spend even more time there.
I love spring just for the fact that we can all be outdoors. We started early and got the contractors to do our patio. We had our first BBQ last week and the girls started collecting snails and other critters. Definitely need a good quality detergent for there new found hobby!
I love spring and summer and what I love most is that we get to be outside all the time again.
The best part of all of it is the cottage and all the fun it brings.
It is amazing to watch the kids run and enjoy the fun in the sun.
I love Spring because my daughter is a spring baby!
I also love finally being able to go outside and enjoy the sun WITHOUT a coat on!
Lots of outdoor fun is also a plus.
I love sunny days of spring and summer time. After long winter in Calgary, we can't wait for the lovely long sunny days to come.
This is my daughter's first spring and summer. She loves being in her stroller and looking around. We go out for a walk as much as we can. In summer time I will take her to the lake. She enjoys water as I do.
We love going to the zoo or a petting zoo. We have so much fun looking at the baby animals. At Big Curve Acres my daughters can also touch and interact with the new babies. We also love going up to grandma's house and heading to the beach. My 2 year old Kaylee absolutely loves it. This year will be Jaime's first time swimming in the lake! Can't wait!!!
I love to go to park and go to beach with my kids during summer time. We will be going to Miami in two weeks and sure we will have fun!!!!!
