I was determined to get back to my pre-pregnancy body pretty quick after my daughter arrived. Luckily, she was born in April so I was able to start taking her for walks right away. I did so many great things when on mat leave though. Some of my favourite include: 1 - Mommy and Baby aquafit. A GREAT class held at the local pool. You get in the pool with your babe and do a water aerobics class with baby in hand. I LOVED this class. My daughter also loved being in the water every week. 2 - Walks with other moms. I had a great group of mama friends when on Mat Leave. We would always meet at some of the local trails and go for walks. 3 - Baby Bootcamp. Another class I took through the rec centres. Great class! They really push you to work harder and faster. 4 - Baby Swim Club. My mommy friends and I formed a baby swim club. Every week we would meet at a different pool. I loved this because I got to try out all the pools in the city. It was also a great social time for the kiddies. 5 - YOGA! I loved pre-natal and post-natal yoga. Unfortunetely life got too busy after post-natal and I haven't been able to sign up for more. Mmmmm.... maybe I should look into that for Feb. So..... that's how I did it. Obviously there were lots and lots of family walks included. There are so many great spots to walk and hike in Victoria. I am one lucky mama! L

Congrats for winning!
Congrats on the win.
Great tips! I found the Aquafit class not so great because the water was cold and my son didn't like it all. However, when we did the swim class for baby and me, he enjoyed it because of the warm water.
True the water was cold but she still loved it! I will do it again with my next baby.
My little guy was born April too! On the 3rd
